Hello and thank you for visiting my JustGiving page in support of East Anglia's Children's Hospices.

I am thrilled to share that I will be participating in an Ultramarathon in Bury St Edmunds on December 1st, 2024, to raise funds for these incredible children's hospices. My goal is to raise £1,000 for this meaningful cause.

Your support is invaluable, and every donation truly makes a difference in the lives of these children and their families.

I understand that times are challenging, but every contribution, no matter how small, has a significant impact on this charity.

Below are some examples of what each donation can do for the charity:

£23 could pay a physiotherapist for an hour, working closely with families and other professionals to support children and young people.

£40 could pay a band 6 nurse for two hours to provide expert nursing care to children and young people, including at end of life.

£80 could pay a counsellor for four hours to provide specialist support to bereaved family members during difficult times.

£120 could fund four hours of specialized psychotherapy by a Family Therapist for children, young people, and families.

£180 could cover eleven hours of a Play Specialist's time, offering tailored play support to children at home or during their hospice stay.

£240 could pay for a community nursing kit, essential equipment to deliver care in the family home or elsewhere in the community.
