2wish provides immediate bereavement support for families, individuals and professionals who have suddenly and traumatically lost a child or young adult aged 25 years and under.

In 2019 my 21 year old son took his own life. He had been suffering with his mental health but when trying to access help from the NHS they significantly failed him despite attending A&E on numerous occasions.

My daughter and I found my son that night, subsequently both my daughter and I have been diagnosed with severe PTSD.

Following the passing of my son we never received any support and were left to our own devices not knowing who to turn to.

We knew of 2Wish and they contacted us and from that point they have helped us immensely

I am running firstly in memory of my son.

I am also running for 2Wish to raise awareness and much needed funds.

Finally on the day of the Marathon it will actually be my 50th birthday.
