Story
We’re running the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon for Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and our friend, Luke.
Join us in supporting an incredible cause as Alex, Paul and Jon lace up their running shoes to take on the Leeds (hilly) marathon. We are not only running for the sheer challenge but are also raising funds for an extraordinary and passionate individual – our friend Luke. Luke has MND. The four of us did GP training together and while we all pursued a career in general practice, Luke also went above and beyond with voluntary and charity work, including mountain rescue and travel medicine.
Motor neurone disease is a devastating condition that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness and loss of mobility.
Your donations will contribute significantly to providing essential care and support, as well as funding vital research aimed at finding treatments and ultimately, a cure for MND. Every pound raised brings us one step closer to improving the lives of those affected by this condition.
We invite you to donate to this great cause, for MND research, and for our friend. Thank you for your support!
