Story

Super excited that I will be running the London Marathon on April 27, 2025. After getting a foot injury last year and not being able to run it to my full ability, I have decided to give it another go! I have another charity place, and I will again be raising money for a local charity ‘Happy Faces’, based in Rhos-on-Sea, here in North Wales.

Happy Faces raise funds to support sick, disabled, and disadvantaged children in North Wales. Its fully dependant on its amazing volunteers that give their time, support and skills for free. They have been able to provide equipment and fund trips to a huge amount of children over the years, which has made a huge positive difference to their lives.

Please donate, and support me in raising as much money as possible for Happy Faces. My target amount is £1,500 but I’m pretty sure we can raise more. The fundraising will keep me motivated, and give me a boost, especially for when I do my cold, winter training in the lead up to the Marathon. I will also be doing bucket collections in local supermarkets so keep an eye out for me.

The London Marathon route is 26.2 miles, starting at Blackheath, and finishing at The Mall, in front of Buckingham Palace, and I'm really happy to be running it again as a member of Team Happy Faces.
