I'm attempting to run the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in May 2024 in memory of my dear friend of 23 years Chris Taylor. In 2023 with the support of our employer, Sky, a number of colleagues managed to raise over 20k for the MNDA. A few of us at Sky will be taking part in this event and looking to raise as much as we can again for this very worthy charity. We are taking part with Chris' blessing (although he thought I was entirely mad!) and following his untimely passing in January we are determined to raise as much as we can for the charity that supported him through his illness.

I'm very aware that money is tight for everyone at the moment, but every donation, however small will make a difference and be very gratefully received by both myself and of course the MNDA.

My target is £500....

£120 could provide an overbed table, making it easier for someone with MND to eat, drink and read safely and comfortably in bed

£280 could fund the coordination of care for someone with MND at a Care Centre for a year

£500 could provide a tablet device with specialist communication software, allowing someone to communicate with loved ones

Every penny raised from The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will bring us closer to achieving our ultimate mission; a world free from MND.
