Story

On the 11th October 2025 Ill take on a trail across 13 Tors of Dartmoor.

I'm primarily motivated to do this at this time as my friend and brother Dan have a deep love of Dartmoor and the outdoors. Dan tragically died of a rare Cancer on Feb 8th 2024. So with this being Dartmoor and Cancer I felt compelled. I also do this however, to honour the Memories of my Mum, Polly Cox, my fairy sister in law Sophie Capon and my friends Jeff and Jamie- all lost to Cancer too soon. I hope the funds raised will be a light in dark places for someone who needs it. It's a hard space to inhabit for both the departing and those that love them.

Beat the Trails for Marie Curie and help people get the best care possible, to the end.

All the money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness, and their families at the toughest time.

£3 helps fund a meal for a patient in one of our hospices.

£26 helps help fund an hour of bereavement support by phone or webchat.

£207 helps fund nine hours of overnight nursing care in a patient's home.
