Story
Hello,
The Trinity Hospice Memory Walk is taking place on the 12th October this year, which also marks the 3rd year anniversary of Pakho's passing 💔.
Close friends, family and myself are joining many others along the 5 mile Memory Walk, not only to remember our most amazing human being , but also to help raise money to ensure Trinity continues to be able to support others in their time of need.
I cant describe enough the care and support the team at Trinity provide, not only to those receiving care, but also to family and friends.
The hospice setting itself is calming and peaceful, with lovely rooms and access to beautifully maintained gardens allowing family ( including animals) and friends to spend pricless time with loved ones in the months, weeks, days leading up to their passing.
Whilst Pak had less than 24 hours in the care of Trinity before he passed, within those hours, the care provided was one of compassion, understanding, love, empathy and dignity.
The support received by family and myself, in what I can only descibe as the most horrendous and devesting hours of our lives will be something I will never forget and be forever grateful for.
End of life is an eventuality that we will all face at some point, be it our own or a loved one. Having access to Hospice care and other palliative support services is something we need to ensure continues to be available to everyone.
As a charity organsation, memory walks and other fund raising events helps provide an essential funding that will allow Hospices such as Trinity to continue to provide this amazing care and support , hopefully for many years to come.
This in mind, please could I ask you to spare a couple of minutes to make a small / sponser/ donation via this JUST GIVING page to support Trinity to continue what it does best .
Thankyou. X
Jo and Family ❤️🩹🙏
