The Tour 21 in 2025 will see a team of 25 amateur cyclists take on all 21 stages of the 2025 Tour de France route, one week ahead of the professional race - with the aim of raising over £/$1million for Cure Leukaemia.

Story

As most of you will be aware (as you all very kindly supported my fundraising efforts at the time) I completed the entire Giro d’italia route in 2023 for charity. Now nearly two years on, I have decided to attempt a second grand tour, for charity.

This June, I will be tackling The Tour 21 on behalf of Cure Leukaemia, alongside 24 amateur cyclists as we look to complete the full Tour de France route one week ahead of the professionals.

The 2025 Tour de France route spans a total of 3,320 kilometers with a cumulative elevation gain of 51,550 meters. That is just a little shy of 6 times up Mount Everest! 🫣

This year we have some of the Tours most iconic climbs to tackle with five mountain top finishes at Hautacam, Luchon-Superbagnères, Mont Ventoux, Courchevel Col de la Loze, and La Plagne Tarentaise. The Col de la Loze, at 2,304 meters, will be the highest point of this year’s route.

Another daunting but exciting challenge in support of an incredible charity.

I hope you can support my efforts by donating to this fundraiser. Every penny donated here will go directly to Cure Leukaemia.

Thanks so much!

John
