Project 500 is a movement to raise £500,000 for Mind Over Mountains by June 2025, to significantly grow our charity so we can support more people with their mental health across the UK, through therapeutic outdoor experiences.

Story

As part of Project 500, John Whitehead (a Trustee at Mind over Mountains) and a number of friends are attempting to cycle 500km within 24hrs on static bikes as a relay team. Many thanks to Tom, Gaenor, Farlane, Morwen, John, Lorraine, Si, Jack, Craig, Karen, Sarah, Roland, Jeremy, Simon, Paul, Liz, Allen, Lawrence and Bill (possibly a few others as yet unaware) for taking part.

Mind Over Mountains is an ambitious and innovative mental health charity that enables people to thrive through therapeutic outdoor experiences. Their walks and retreats enable people to restore and sustain their mental health and wellbeing through a highly integrated practice that brings together professionally guided hill-walking, mindfulness, and quality time with professional coaches and counsellors.

Project 500 is a ground-breaking movement to get individuals, teams and organisations active in nature, whilst enabling Mind Over Mountains to raise the £500,000 that will help it scale and drive meaningful national change, by June 2025.

With your help we can move mountains!
