Our Story

We are aiming to raise enough money to help 2 local companies, to provide a defibrillator for each. Having known family and friends who have been through life changing heart issues & also the impact this has on their families & lives. We understand & know the importance of how these defibrillators can help.

We all live local and would love to be able to support both these worthwhile causes, one is South Moor Lodge Care home in Walkeringham, this would help the residents & staff as currently they don’t have a defibrillator or even one close by, so if anyone has an heart issue or cardiac arrest at the Care home the chances of these people being able to survive would be very slim.

The second business is Franco’s Boxing Club in Gainsborough, the business has a lot of younger people who train hard, also giving and helping them with their fitness & wellbeing. A defibrillator at this site would again help the customers, staff & also the local community, with this venue being on an industrial estate, it could also benefit anyone working close by.

Having been through heart issues myself (John) I understand how just one of these devices can help save people & give them a better chance of surviving, I wish every business, school or sports club could have one.
