Simon on the Streets are an independent charity whose core mission is ‘Providing hope to those without a voice.’ The charity has been supporting those rough sleeping, sofa surfing and at risk of homelessness in Leeds and Bradford for 25 years.

Recent changes in my own life have made me see just how easy homelesness can happen to everyday people and I would love to support the great work Simon on the streets do.

The charities emotional and practical outreach support is not time limited and ensures their work can be tailored to the individual for as long as that person needs, whether this be support around accessing accommodation, linking into primary healthcare for their physical and mental health, or working with addiction services or specialists in trauma informed care.

Simon on the Streets support a range of people with complex needs, from rough sleepers to sofa surfers and those -vulnerably housed.

I am running the Rob Burrow Marathon and the three peaks - and while some of you have known me as a runner, these challanges are going to take munumental return to fitness if I am to complete them.
