So not having learnt our lesson last time in 2022 Matt Way and I are cycling to Amsterdam again in June to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. As many of your know this is a charity very close to our hearts which has had a devastating impact for both family and friends.

This time we’ve managed to persuade a couple of others to join us - Leo Mills (who might be celebrating the same milestone as me from our 1974 birth year) and also Tom Houston to add a bit of youth.

What are we actually doing?

• Riding 135 miles in 2 days

• Probably regretting our decision near instantly once the pedalling starts

• Aiming to raise over £1500 each for a fantastic cause

I get loads of requests for Sponsorship – why should I sponsor you?

• 1 in 2 of us will suffer from some kind of cancer in our lives and we are going to raise some much needed funds to help people in need of support as they battle this disease.

• This is not a Sunday afternoon cycle – it is going to HURT and that means that you get to know that you have directly contributed to causing me pain – surely that is worth a few quid?!

• Because I will be doing this after having officially reached very early middle age so think of it as a donation for helping the aged too!
