40 lengths / 40 day swim challenge

Story

Over 30 years ago my Uncle was treated for childhood leukaemia. Since then my family has closely supported the charity, LATCH.

Sadly, many children need months, if not years, of treatment for Cancer and Leukaemia that often involves a period of time living as in-patients in the Oncology Unit in UHW. Along with providing grants, support and information, LATCH also provides hotel-style accommodation and facilities that enables families to live on site in UHW to ensure they can be together with their child, whilst undergoing treatment.

LATCH is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. To mark this, I have committed to swimming 40 lengths each day for 40 days which totals 32,000 metres or 32kms. This is my first fundraising challenge and would be very grateful if you could help me reach my target.

Any amount that you can give would be really appreciated.

Iwan
