Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
The Eilidh Brown Respite Home in Thornhill exists to provide respite to children suffering or recovering from cancer. Built in the memory of Eilidh Brown, our friend’s Gordon and Nicole’s beautiful and very much loved daughter, who died aged only 15 years from germ cell cancer. Eilidh’s opened in July 2023 and is a beacon of love and hope. However, we need to find £50,000 a year in running costs to continue helping these children and their families.
Starting from Stirling Castle at 3am on Saturday 18th May 2024, I’m going to try and cycle a 700 mile route around the UK and Ireland taking in all 5 countries in 7 days, hopefully arriving back at Stirling Castle esplanade in one piece, on the afternoon of Friday 24th May 2024.
Once again, I’ll be fully funding this challenge from my own pocket, every penny raised goes to helping children with cancer, providing them and their families with respite from their troubles at the beautiful Eilidh Brown Respite Home in Thornhill.
This will be an unsupported effort once again.
If you’d like to see your company’s logo on my cycling jersey and training kit please get in touch with me via FB.
I’m also looking to build a team to help me fundraise for this effort, so if you can bring something/anything you have in terms of a skill set or energy, please get in touch with me via FB, life’s a team game.
Please donate anything you can. The Five Nations For Eilidh Just Giving Page will be up and running from April 2024, but I’ll be posting social media updates across all the platforms beyond that.
