Hi everyone, my name is John Denholm, I am an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and I am driving my Driving School Car from my home City of Newcastle upon Tyne to the Monaco Grand Prix in May 2024. Thats 1153 miles (approx) each way! I hope to raise both awareness and funds for PROSTATE CANCER UK.

My younger brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2019 at the age of 48. He had surgery and treatment and just before Christmas was told he was cancer free. Due to his diagnosis I myself underwent tests, examinations and MRI scans for prostate cancer. After several weeks I was given the all clear. I must say our NHS where amazing and the care I recieved was first class.

Since my brothers diagnosis and treatment I have heard many more stories of other men and their families going through what my brother and myself have experienced. Some of these men have not had such a good outcome as my brother and myself.

Therefore, for my amazing brother, myself, every other man and there families, I want to raise AWERENESS of this awful disease and possibly some much needed money for PROSTATE CANCER UK and the fantastic work they do.
