I’m John Davies and I’m abseiling down Liverpool Cathedral for Clare House on Saturday 7th September at 9:18 in the morning.

I’m doing this in memory of my wife Lucy. Like mothers everywhere, she loved children. She spent time working in our local primary school and loved her time spent there. She was a warm and caring presence for many children who, adults now, remember her with much affection.

Claire House Children's Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life. By providing specialist nursing care and emotional support we help families smile again when life couldn't get any tougher.
