At the same time, I'd like to raise money for Diabetes UK. My 18 year old daughter had the life changing diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetic in 2021; new discoveries in care and technology help her and others to manage this chronic illness and live as normal a life as possible. Diabetes UK provides care, support and advice to millions of people helping them to manage their diabetes well. In addition they fund groundbreaking research which have transformed diabetes care and campaign for change so people can access the best treatment and standards of care.
