Story
In 2017, I discovered that I have a rare genetic disorder that was the cause of my recurrent miscarriages and multiple failed IVF cycles. This was the first sign that, despite a decade of trying, my husband and I would never be a mum or dad to babies on earth.
Over the past seven years, I've worked hard to find a new purpose - a ‘plan B,’ if you will. Running has become my passion and solace, helping me heal and giving me a renewed sense of purpose, and I am passionate about breaking the conspiracy of silence that surrounds miscarriage.
The next step in fulfilling my purpose is to combine two things I am passionate about - running and breaking the conspiracy of silence that surrounds miscarriage. So, I am absolutely over the moon and delighted to have been given a place to run the 2025 London Marathon on behalf of The Miscarriage Association. It is a lifelong dream of mine to run the London Marathon, and I couldn't do it for a better charity.
Please help me raise as much money as possible for this fantastic charity. This organisation has been a beacon of hope for many like me, offering support, understanding, and a voice to those who have suffered the pain of miscarriage. By donating, you’ll be helping to ensure that no one has to face this journey alone.
Thank you for supporting me on this journey and for helping to turn heartbreak into hope.
