Hello!!! My name is Joey (he/him) and I running in my FIRST MARATHON!!! AND I am doing it for SCOPE. What is SCOPE? Why is it so special? Well, SCOPE believes that "Summer Camp Opportunities Promote Education". Which is something I feel very strongly about...let me share a story...

Camp IHC in Northeastern PA has been my summer home for close to two decades. I have grown to learn so much about myself and how to forge my way in this crazy world.

Every year I am challenged to become a kinder, stronger, giving person. I have been given so many opportunities to learn, explore and even fail. During this past year, I decided to focus on my health and well being. So I took up running. And I made it my goal last summer to run the NYC Marathon this year!!! Thank you SCOPE for giving me the opportunity.

I am so excited and humbled to continue my fitness journey by running for this amazing organization that works to introduce so many young people to the amazing gift that is summer camp.

My goal is to raise $3000. With that kindness, we can send TWO KIDS to an overnight summer camp for 2 weeks!!!!!!!

Please help me reach this goal (or let's go beyond and send more kids to camp)!!!!
