Myself and 11 others from Powersystems UK are taking part in the National 3 Peaks Challenge to support an amazing cause: Dementia UK!

The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales.

In June, we will trek 25 miles and climb over 5,200 feet in under 40 hours to raise funds for Dementia UK.

Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia - it's one of the biggest health challenges of our time. Families affected are often left feeling exhausted and overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn. But with the support of Dementia UK, families facing the fear and confusion of dementia know they’re not alone.

Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family, working towards a day where no one has to face dementia alone. Their specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing advice and support, to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed.
