Recently I've been made aware of just how bad the situation has gotten with people giving up their dogs due to the cost of living crisis happening in the UK right now.

Last year the Dogs Trust had over 50,000 enquiries from owners looking to give up their dogs, 6,000 enquiries happened in January this year ALONE, which is the most the charity has ever received in one month. And that's just one charity, and just dogs. Let alone any other charities or other pets!
