Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In June of this year, my nan received a devastating diagnosis of lung cancer. Over the course of the following nine weeks, we experienced a rollercoaster of emotions, with moments of hope and despair. Sadly, she passed away on August 11, 2023.

Throughout those challenging nine weeks, My nan spent much time in the hospital until her final days were spent and St Andrews Hospice, Grimsby. The care and support provided by the hospice staff exceeded all expectations.

While no amount of money can truly express our gratitude, I am committed to contributing as much as I can to ensure that other families facing similar situations can receive the incredible support that we did. To do this, I have set a personal challenge for myself: I will be running the full Manchester marathon in 2024, a significant challenge for me as my first marathon ever. My hope is that this effort will make a meaningful difference in someone else's life.
