A team from Lloyd's is taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge on 14th June 2024! Together the group will raise vital funds to enable us to improve the lives of children from disadvantaged backgrounds with our inspiring and joyful arts programmes.

Story

A team from Lloyd's is set to take on the gruelling 3 Peaks Challenge to raise money for Delight. This challenge involves walking the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales within 24 hours. On 14th June, the team will begin their ascent of Ben Nevis, which at 1,344m is the tallest of the 3 peaks, from there they will drive to Scafell Pike, 978m, and on to Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) where they will finish the challenge with a 1,085m climb.

The team is attempting this walk to raise vital funds to help Delight deliver its arts-based learning programmes in schools serving high levels of children from disadvantaged backgrounds and / or with additional learning needs.

Delight is a leading arts education charity and its vision is for every child to have equal opportunity to thrive during their school years and beyond. Its arts-based learning programmes help children from disadvantaged backgrounds build strong foundations for a brighter future.
