Story

Dear friends and supporters,

I’m lacing up my running shoes and hitting the pavement for a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart. On April 27th 2025, I’ll be running the iconic London Marathon in memory of my beloved grandma (forever to me as Mamma), Pat.

Mamma was a beacon of love, wisdom, and kindness. In her final days, Sobell House Hospice provided her with compassionate care, ensuring her comfort and dignity. The dedicated staff and volunteers went above and beyond, creating a peaceful and supportive environment for Pat and our family.

Now, it’s my turn to give back. Sobell House Hospice provides essential palliative care to patients and their families, offering comfort, pain management, and emotional support during life’s most challenging moments. By supporting my marathon run, you’re directly contributing to this vital work.

How You Can Help:

- Donate: Every pound makes a difference. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of patients like Mamma.

- Spread the Word: Share my fundraising page with your network. Let’s create a ripple effect of kindness and generosity.

- Cheer Me On: If you’re in London on race day, come wave a flag, shout encouragement, and be part of this incredible journey.

Together, we can ensure that Sobell House Hospice continues to be a sanctuary of compassion for others. Thank you for joining me on this meaningful marathon adventure!

With gratitude, Joseph
