Story

From Saturday 19th August to Monday 21st August the family and friends of Joe Collins will be walking from Kirkby Lonsdale in the Lake District to Elland Road covering 60 miles in order to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Joe was an avid Leeds fan, one of many in his family, who passed away in February 2019. Throughout Joe's illness he and his family received amazing support from the Teenage Cancer Trust Unit at St James's Hospital in Leeds.

His mum, Sephie has already run 2 half marathons and his cousin Emily a marathon, in aid of the TCT.

This walk will serve as both a memory of Joe's life and to raise much needed funds and awareness.

Route:

Day 1- Kirkby Lonsdale to Malham

Day 2- Malham to Ilkley

Day 3- Ilkley to Elland Road
