Joe's Skydive for The Giles' Trust

Joe Brock is raising money for University Hospitals Birmingham Charity

Skydive · 30 August 2025

The Giles' Trust was set up in 2015 by England cricketer Ashley Giles and his wife, Stine, to raise money to fund vital brain tumour research at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. Make a donation and help to change lives today.

Story

This year is the 10th anniversary of The Giles’ Trust Brain Tumour Fund, founded by my girlfriend’s parents, Stine and Ashley Giles after Stine was diagnosed with three brain tumours since December 2006. In that time, they’ve raised over £1.3 million to fund vital research, buy life-changing equipment, and support patients and families at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.

One of their incredible projects is Stine’s Home from Home — free accommodation just five minutes from the hospital, giving families a safe, comfortable place to stay during treatment.

To mark this milestone year, both Tilly and I are taking on a charity skydive (in 2 weeks!) to help The Giles’ Trust continue their amazing work. I'm aiming to raise £400 but every donation, big or small, will make a real difference — supporting research, care, and projects like Stine’s Home from Home for the families who need them most.

Thank you in advance for your support and if you're feeling extra generous then please take a look at Tilly's JustGiving page too!
