Story
I'm so proud to be running the London Marathon 2025 in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH)!
I was born with a condition called craniosynostosis, meaning that the different bones in my skull were fused together. This caused my head to be misshapen and without surgical intervention could have potentially caused problems with brain development and would certainly have affected my quality of life.
The amazing team at GOSH were able to reshape my skull, allowing it to grow normally and for me to live a completely normal life. This major operation happened when I was less than a year old so I don't remember any of it, but I know it was an incredibly stressful time for my parents. Despite this, they have always told me how well we were looked after by the GOSH team, and I am forever grateful to them for that.
I have always wanted to do something to say thank you to GOSH for the care they gave me when I was a baby. I know that all the money raised will help GOSH continue to improve the lives of babies and children, so if you can help by donating then I would be extremely grateful!
