Story

Please donate in memory of Joe to a cause that was close to his heart... and he had such a big heart!

Hey Joe...hey bro

Hey Joe Hey bro

It’s still not the end of the show

You are actually in a place where lights always glow

I met you young, I met you wild

So many songs unsung, both of us an only child

Vibes and tribes, good times,

party’s music and good rhymes

Crash at mine once in a while it’s a safe side.

Life can be a slide, never getting a grip

Until eventually you collide

Always there to help when you fall,

We all do until eventually we stand tall.

Living life to the fullest is never a crime,

You got unlucky, simply the wrong time.

Looking at our watches and being kept waiting.

This isn’t the first time I read a poem to you

But it is the last

Sadly you are now in the past.

But also now in the future.

as it will be you waiting for us.

Living a good life in memory of you we trust.

So one day when the angel collects us on his bus,

you will be at the end of the journey with your dad.

So when I finish this rhyme you will say

“stop being so dramatic you were just on time,

I’ve been keeping your seats warm”.

“The party is pretty good up here,

so come have a beer. Oh by the way,

where I am Charlton F.C. wins every year.

I must be in heaven.”

I’m sure one day we will all

See you again and say “hey Joe....hey bro”.

By Rua Singh

To Joe.

In a world without you, where our memories lie

Let’s celebrate Joe,

The best ever guy!

Kindness personified, always there to lend an ear.

Your voice in our memories we hold so dear.

You had no bad words, just good vibes in the air,

A soul so pure, beyond compare.

We have so many fond memories in the treasure chest of Time

Every single one is so sublime!

“I’m a croup! I’m a weirdo!” we’d declare,

Singing at the top of our lungs.

A duo so rare.

My Chemical Romance, our EMO escapade,

Playing darts. In fun, you never strayed.

No-one laughed at my jokes like you,

Especially my ‘knock-knock joke about ‘You’re a Poo!!’

( He’ll know what I mean…)

The best sense of humour

A comic’s delight

In the Afterlife, you’ll keep the Angels bright

So here’s to Joe,

In laughter and song,

A celebration of his life,

A character, so strong!

From my heart the love extends,

To our forever funny,

My Cousin, Our Friend.

From Georgia.
