Story

My Mum was diagnosed with dementia a few years ago and whilst the progress has been slow watching the impact on my mum has been heartbreaking. We are all adjusting to it especially my Dad and brother who lives nearby and bears the brunt of the care needs.

i wanted to do something to help the overall search for a cure to alzheimer's so others don't have to suffer like my mum and so many millions of other people.

i will be cycling 80km through the kent countryside on sunday 27th October 2024 - Any small donation will be really appreciated.

Every 3 minutes dementia steals a happily ever after. Research is our only chance of changing the ending for people affected by dementia.

We are the UK's leading dementia research charity. We exist for a cure.

Your donation helps our scientists and researchers find new ways to diagnose dementia, develop new treatments and find a cure for dementia.
