I'm running London Marathon 2025 on behalf of World Animal Protection. As an animal rights activist and practising vegan, the exploitation and cruelty towards animals is an issue I care very deeply about — so running for World Animal Protection to support the amazing work they do for animals is a huge honour. 😌
In their own words, here’s a bit about World Animal Protection:
At World Animal Protection, we move the world to protect animals. We’ve been doing it for more than 70 years. We’re the global voice for animals, respected for our knowledge and expertise. And we’re building a movement of millions of people determined to create a world free from animal cruelty and suffering.
And for a little bit of my background: in 2021, I got my first dog Bruno, and he quickly became my best friend. Earning Bruno’s trust and watching him grow into his personality made me realise that it’s not possible to draw a meaningful moral distinction between Bruno’s life and the lives of the billions of animals we exploit for human gain. Since then, I’ve switched to a completely vegan lifestyle and become an active participant in the animal rights movement.
World Animal Protection’s mission is very closely aligned with my own. I've pledged to raise £2,000 — I'd really appreciate your support to help me reach this target.
