I said never again... but against my better judgement (and now in my 40s!)... the Outer Dowsing team has inspired me to go for one more marathon.

14 of the team will run in the Boston* Marathon, half or 10km in 2025.

Some of us are seasoned runners, others are beginning our running journey, but together as a team, we hope to raise some money for a range of charities across Lincolnshire and further beyond.

The Outer Dowsing Offshore Wind team are working to build a 1.5 GW wind farm, 33 miles off the coast of Wolla Bank, Lincolnshire. We are currently in development phase, and it is hoped that building will begin in 2027 and complete in 2030 bringing clean renewable power to 1.6 million households.

Age UK Lincoln and South Lincolnshire are a great cause, and are an independent, local charity working in the community to support older people, their families, and carers, with the varying challenges faced during later life with a vision for a brighter, more connected future for older people.
