Story

I'm running the 2025 Brighton Marathon in April for Alzheimer's Society.

My Grandad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2013 when I was 13, and passed away last year, after the long and gradual decline of his memory. It will always be painful that as I grew-up into an adult, I was never really able to get to know who he was before his diagnosis, and he never really got to see me grow-up either.

Alzheimer's Society help support those living with dementia today, and also fund vital research to ensure that people get better care in the future.

If you know me well, you'll know that I hate running (cycling is much better), so please consider donating if you're able to for a good cause, and help make my brief foray into running worthwhile!

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
