Story

Join Me in Supporting Mental Health at "1000 Lights" organised by UPRAWR Mental Health Foundation!

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be participating in the upcoming “1000 Lights” event as a guitarist alongside over 1000 other musicians at the Birmingham Utilita Arena on Sunday 18th August 2024 in partnership with the charity: UPRAWR Mental Health Foundation.

This once in a lifetime event will bring us all together playing 2 Linkin Park tracks (In The End & Numb), both in tribute to the late frontman Chester Bennington who tragically took his own life in 2017, and also raising what money we can for the charity and its admirable mission of providing free mental health counselling, services, and support for the alternative community. A cause I can wholeheartedly and sincerely relate to...

As some of you may or may not know, I’ve struggled with my own mental health for a very long time, which is what makes this cause so important to me, and one which I’d be more than happy to involve myself with and do what I can to help fundraise.

Therefore, I wanted to reach out to you all and ask that you please consider contributing to this cause via my Just Giving Fundraiser. Any donations, however big or small, will be GREATLY appreciated

100% of everything donated will go directly to UPRAWR Mental Health Foundation (Registered Charity No 1178183)

[Check out www.1klights.com for more info on the event]

Thank you all for your kindness and generosity! I truly appreciate it.

About the campaign

Join our epic band of 1000 & raise money to provide free counselling & mental health services for the alternative music community while playing alongside rock legends such as Funeral for a Friend, Holding Absence, The Blackout and MORE at the NIA.

About the charity

We provide free counselling to people aged 18 and 35 that relate to the alternative & rock music scene. Running sessions online, and from UPRAWR Studios, we turned our studio rooms into relaxed counselling suits so people can talk to councillors they to relate to in a non-clinical environment.
