The Big Half 2024 · 1 September 2024 ·

We are a team of runners of mixed abilities and experience who are taking on the challenge of running either the full Vitality Big Half marathon or the relay on Sunday 1st September 2024 to raise much needed funds for Kilmorie Primary School.

Story

As some of you know, I've been going through a really rough patch and running has played a huge part in helping me to process and get through it. But I'm on the way out of that dark place, feeling stronger physically and mentally every day. It's funny how sometimes it takes being forced into self-care to realise how much it's needed!

So I'm running the Vitality Big Half on Sunday 1st September to raise much needed funds for Kilmorie Primary School, where my son Ed attends. The money raised will fund additional resources for pupils, at a time when school budgets are under even more pressure than usual. It's an incredible school which despite its large size, has still managed to give plenty of individual attention to each child and helped even our shy little Eddie come out of his shell.

Please support Ed's lovely school and me hitting this milestone that will mark the beginning of a bright, new chapter :)
