On 27th May I will be treking to the peak of Mount Snowdon in Wales to fundraise for a Bright Space for children and young people in Brighton. The Bright Space will be located in the Young People's Centre run by our partner, Impact Initiatives.

The Young People's Centre helps young people aged 11 – 19 needing help and advice around their wellbeing and mental health, helping them to connect with specialist support in a broad a range of contexts.

Bright Spaces are sanctuaries for children and young people experiencing trauma and adversity, located in domestic abuse refuges, police child protection suites, courts, prison visiting areas, hospitals and hospitals.

They are designed to help children and young people feel safe, and to provide them with the opportunity to play and relax, and receive the help they need from specialist agencies.
