Story

2 years after walking 10 miles to raise vital funds for Derian House Children’s Hospice I decided it was time to up the ante. I am pledging to walk 60 miles over 3 days to support Derian House in their 30th year. At the ripe old age of 77, having lived with cancer, and having surgeries and treatment over the past 11 years I cannot comprehend the impact life limiting conditions have on these young people and their families and feel compelled to do my bit. I hope to be supported by local sports people to raise both awareness and funds for the children of South Cumbria who are cared for by Derian House. Derian House need to raise £4 million + each year to provide the care needed for our local families from South Cumbria. Please help me to do this.
