This September, I will be taking part in Cure Leukaemia's "Your14" Challenge

Why? Because every 14 minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer and just over 4 years ago that was me, when I was told I had an aggressive form of AML. After 6 months of chemo in hospital, I went into remission. I realise I'm very lucky, but also am acutely aware of the high recurrence rates and the need for continuing research to find new and improved treatments.
