Maggie's on the Runway is a gala ball to raise money for Maggie's, a charity that provides emotional, practical and financial support to anyone affected by cancer and their families.

Family and friends I am asking for your help once again to raise as much money for a charity very special to me.

You may or may not know that I was a model in the last show, where I was a Rick's chick (yes Rick Astley!) We walked that catwalk and Rick sang, very special. This time I will be SINGING in a choir (not solo you'll be happy to hear) along with the fabulous Rock choir!

Again I am totally out of my comfort zone here, just over a year out from a recurrence of breast cancer and further surgery. My Mum was also chosen as a model, she too has cancer, however she has been too poorly from the treatment so had to pull out, I'm doing this for both of us 🙏🧡

Maggie's is a special place where I (or anyone) affected by cancer be that directly as a patient or family, care giver or friend. Maggie's offer specialist support, financial, emotional, wellbeing, a place to release those inner demons. I know that at any day I need their support I can walk in and receive the help i need. For nothing. They don't ask for a penny. Priceless. Like a comfort blanket. There when you need them. This is why I am fundraising to help keep this centre providing this service for others, because cancer is a lonely place,a frightening time and Maggie's takes some of that away. Please if you can spare a fiver it would help so much 🧡
