Story
I started open water swimming in July 23 and somehow have managed to swim through the winter months (booties, gloves and swimmers NO wetsuit!!) with the encouragement from my fellow tadpoles - plus the lure of hot tea and toast & marmalade at the end!.
So I'd like to give myself a challenge to push a little bit more and swim more than I've ever done, with Taplow Tadpoles.
I'd really appreciate your support for this worthy cause and if you're able to pop down on the day to offer some support that'd be great : )
Read below to find out more about the charity:
The first splash. The holding your breath. The echoes of laughter. The wet hair. The lifted spirits. The joy of gliding through water. The smile that lasts all day.
Swimming is like nothing else. The skills you develop, the confidence you build and the joys you feel are all universal. Yet access to swimming in the UK is not.
At Level Water, we use the power of swimming to improve lives for children with disabilities.
Everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim and fall in love with the water.
