I am doing the Lakes 26 trek around Ullswater in May 2025.

The Lake District has been one of my favourite places to walk and ride for a number of years so when I saw the Alzheimer’s Society was doing their fundraising walk in this area I couldn’t sign up for it quick enough.

The Alzheimer’s Society is a charity supporting a cause close to my heart having had family members and friends suffer from it over the years.

Our team name is in memory of one of our team members Lynne who lost her father to Alzheimers. Please support team ‘Walking for Will I am’ in our trek26. There’s 4 of us who will all be supporting each other on our preparation and completion of the trek.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They do this by giving help to those living with dementia today and by providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding ground-breaking research.
