Story

In April 2023, I lost a very dear friend and work colleague Marina to suicide.

Marina was always a very happy and positive person and a pleasure to work with and have as a friend. She showed no signs of needing help, if only she had reached out to speak to someone maybe we/they could have saved her.

PAPRUS is our chosen charity at work for this year and we are trying to raise as much money and awareness as we can to help others who are in need.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

On Saturday 19 October I will be taking part in our HOPEWALK on Peddars Way Norfolk with a group of work colleagues and friends. We have a route from Holme-next-the-sea to Great Massingham taking us approximately 17 miles along the Peddars Way.

Any donation would be very greatly appreciated.
