We are raising money for several charities by walking the 20 miles from Kentwell Hall in Suffolk to Bury St Edmunds Cathedral along the old pilgrimage route. We are a group of 7 Tudor enthusiasts who re-enact at Kentwell hall and are doing this in full Tudor costume and as authentically as possible (although we are using modern boots as Tudor ones wouldn't stand up to the trudging!). We are also staying at authentic hostelries along the way.

Of an evening, we will also be story telling just as the ancient pilgrims would have done. We will end our trip, with a blessing of our St Edmunds pilgrim badges, at the cathedral.
