Story
We're still feeling the ripple effects of the pandemic. As someone who loves solitude and comfort, Covid-19 legitimised me being the hermit crab I'd default to being if I had no other obligations. However, moderation is key and left unchecked, a tendency towards introversion can morph into something more sinister. Better habits can only be cultivated if like muscles they are used little and often. Whilst I am sure most of you could do this challenge without even trying, this is currently out of my comfort zone. That's why in August I am going to walk at least 2 miles every day for a cause close to my heart. Please give what you can, even the smallest amount will inspire me to push forward, knowing you have faith in my ability to complete this challenge. Thanks! 🙏
I will be covering 62 Miles in August for Refuge. On any given day, Refuge supports 7000 women and children. Just £10 could provide a woman arriving at a Refuge with the support she needs for her first night. Every £1 makes a difference. Thank you!
