In April 2024 I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon raising money for the Stroke unit here at the UHNM. I have chosen this charity as this is something very close and personal to my family and I, as I have recently lost my grandad after he was placed on palliative care on ward 127 following a severe Stroke, and would like to give something back to the Medical Team who cared for him.

It is thanks to people just like you that we are able to make things better for our patients, their families and the staff who treat them. Your donation will help us to provide important equipment, new facilities, pioneering research and all the important extras that make our care so special.
