Story
For many years I said that if a group of 10 or more colleagues at Manchester Mind would take on a skydive challenge then I'd be there. This promise was not forgotten, but terrifyingly this Summer there was suddenly 11 members of the charity team ready to take the leap of faith. So I signed on the dotted line...
It's been so busy at Manchester Mind that I've not had time to think about the reality of what this means, but as we reach September suddenly we're only six weeks away from this 11,000ft freefall to earth. What have I done?!
However scared I might be, together as a team I know we'll overcome our fears in aid of Manchester Mind.
Our independent charity supports 8,000 children, young people and adults each year, but we raise our own funds to ensure we can continue to be there for anyone in need.
As I get ready to jump out of a plane for the charity I love, if you can make a small donation that'd mean so much to me and help us reach our collective fundraising target.
Thank you...and of course, the "before and after" photos are available to anyone who kindly shows their support!
Yours soon to be in a red jumpsuit up in the sky,
