Gatehouse Bank colleagues have chosen the Bone Cancer Research Trust to be their charity of the year for 2024. The charity is close to the hearts of many of our colleagues and their families and therefore, we hope to return the support that the charity has provided to our community over the years.

Why 560 meters a day? because every year around 560 people are diagnosed with bone cancer.

Sadly I can't escape family life to swim daily but I will complete an average of 560m a day which is 868 lengths of the pool I will access and almost 11 miles in total. Years ago this would have been easy for me, now, busy job, 3 small children and the most unfit I have been in my life, it will bit a lot more of a challenge but I'm really looking forward to raising money for such a great cause.
