I have been volunteering in the Chemotherapy Day Centre at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for over 6 years and have enjoyed every moment. It has given me the opportunity to see first hand the amazing treatment, kindness and dedication given by the whole staff in the ward. By taking part in this abseil I hope to raise funds to provide the ward with some extra comforts for the patients during their treatment sessions.
