Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

**UPDATE**

I am overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of all those who have donated. So many have mentioned my bravery. I will have five minutes of sheer excitement or sheer terror, but Jake endures a week of sickness and misery, then goes back to school to catch up, enjoy three weeks, then it all starts over again, and again, month after month. Now that’s brave.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

My 13 year old grandson, Jake, has an inoperable brain tumour. He has been treated with radio and chemotherapy, a gruelling treatment for anyone. Please help me to raise money to help Chris Jones at the Institute of Cancer Research at the Royal Marsden Hospital to find a cure for this devastating disease, so no more beautiful young people need to suffer in this way.
