Story
I am taking part in the 60 Miles in June Challenge in order to offer fellowship and support to my dear step-daughter Laura.
In Laura's words:
'As some of you will know we were expecting our much longed for daughter, sister to Lily, and granddaughter due on the 20th March.
I went into early labour on Sunday 17th March and noticing babys movements had decreased decided to go into hospital early. After putting Lily to bed and leaving my mum to stay with her we left with our hospital bags expecting it to be the last evening as a family of 3. While at hospital we had two doctors scan us and we’re devastated to learn that there wasn’t a heart beat.
We don’t have any answers yet as to why and had heard her heart beating as normal 3 days before at a midwife appt.
Erin Iris Blair was born 18th march at 12.45, 7lb 13oz and absolutely perfect. She looked just like her sister. We are devastated that she couldn’t come home.'
Those of you who know me, will know that I will in any case be out walking every day and so it seemed natural to try and turn this into fundraising for such an important cause.
Please sponsor me and you too can help end the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss.
Thank you.
