October is Lupus Awareness Month in the UK, which aims to raise awareness of lupus amongst the public and medical profession, and improve understanding of the impact that this autoimmune condition can have on the lives of those living with it.

LUPUS UK is the only national registered charity supporting people with systemic lupus and discoid lupus and assisting those approaching diagnosis.

Lupus has directly affected me and caused irreversal organ damage.

I pledge to walk one mile a day through October to raise awareness of this life altering autoimmune disease.
